These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the Taloma mobile application and related digital service (the “Service”).

The Service is provided by Tohmoco Oy (Business ID 3387948-8), Helsinki, Finland (“Taloma”, “we”, “us”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

Taloma is a digital application designed to assist owners of detached houses and holiday homes in planning, documenting, and managing property maintenance, tracking expenses, and storing important property information.

The Service may include reminders, weather-based alerts, document storage, and AI-based suggestions.

2. User Account

Use of the Service requires registration of a user account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

3. User Content

You may upload or create content within the Service, including maintenance records, documents, photos, receipts, and notes (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant Taloma a limited, non-exclusive right to process, store, and display the content solely for providing the Service.

We do not sell User Content and do not use it for advertising purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Bypass security measures
  • Use automated systems or bots without authorization
  • Infringe intellectual property rights

5. Subscription, Free Trial, and Payments

Taloma offers optional paid Pro subscriptions within the application.

Prices vary by region and are displayed in the App Store or Google Play before purchase.

30-Day Free Trial

Taloma may offer a 30-day free trial period. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period, the subscription will automatically convert into a paid subscription.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

Taloma does not process or store payment card information.

Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or platform policy.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

6. Changes to the Service

We may modify, update, add, or remove features of the Service. We will not materially reduce core paid functionality during an active subscription period without reasonable justification.

7. AI-Based Features

The Service may provide AI-generated recommendations. These are informational only and do not replace professional advice. You remain responsible for your decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Service are owned by Tohmoco Oy or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taloma shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account within the application.

We may suspend or terminate access in case of violation of these Terms.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland.

Disputes shall primarily be resolved through negotiation. Consumers retain rights under mandatory consumer protection laws.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
